Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the thetapspecialist.co.uk website (the "Service") operated by The Tap Specialist ("us", "we", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the Service.

All references to “we”, “us”, or “our” in these Terms refer to Aspect Retail & Media Ltd, trading as The Tap Specialist.


2. Purchases

You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and related consumer protection legislation.

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.

By placing an order through our Service, you warrant that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
  • The information you provide is true, accurate and complete;
  • You are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Product availability issues;
  • Pricing or description errors;
  • Suspicion of fraud or unauthorised transactions.


3. Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies

We continually update our product listings, but cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information including pricing, descriptions, and stock levels. If an error is identified after an order is placed, we will contact you before processing.


4. Promotions

Promotional offers, discount codes, and competitions may be subject to additional terms. Where promotion terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion-specific terms will apply.


5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service (including text, graphics, logos, images, and software) is the property of The Tap Specialist or its licensors and protected under UK and international intellectual property laws.


6. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may include links to external sites that are not operated by us. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Please review their terms and privacy policies separately.


7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately without notice for any breach of these Terms. All provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.


8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Tap Specialist and its affiliates, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Tap Specialist shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.


10. Disclaimer

Our Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Use of the Service is at your sole risk.


11. Installation, Warranty, and Product Support

The Tap Specialist is a retailer only for all brands except where professional installation can be arranged for Intu, Triflow Nobili, Billi, and Zip Water products. See individual product listings for more information. We are not a certified installer for theses brands: Abode, Alveus, Blanco, Ellsi, Franke, Grohe, Hanstrom, InSinkErator, Jura, Nobili, Perrin & Rowe, Prima, Reginox, Shaws of Darwen, Verana . Installation remains the responsibility of the customer or their appointed installer.  

Manufacturer installation documents are provided where available on the product pages.  Post-installation troubleshooting, customers/their installers will be referred directly to the manufacturer - contacts are also available on our FAQ page (see section: Need Technical/Installation Advice). Please do not schedule installers until your goods have been received and checked.


12. Delivery, Returns & Cancellations

  • Delivery estimates, charges, and redelivery policies are outlined on our Refunds & Returns page.
  • Inspect goods upon delivery and report damages within 48 hours.
  • Do not install damaged items. Fitted goods are non-returnable unless faulty.
  • Return requests must comply with our Refunds & Returns Policy.


13. Privacy & Cookies

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
