The Triflow TF1000 features an activated carbon core, PP cotton outer material, and FOF (fabric over foam). The FOF contains organic salts like Polyphosphate sodium and Hexametaphosphate sodium, making it a degradable and environmentally friendly material that acts as a scale inhibitor. This prevents scale crystals from forming, eliminating the need for a water softener.

Triflow recommend replacing the Triflow TF1000 limescale filter every 6 months to maintain optimal performance. Regular replacement is essential for any hybrid systems to ensure product warranty compliance.
