Q. Can Zip engineers cut into the worktop?

A. Yes — Zip engineers can provide tap hole cut-outs for selected worktop materials when pre-booked, including:

Hardwood
Laminate
Stainless Steel (up to 5mm)

Granite
Quartz
Marble

For granite composite worktops, please let us know the material type and we can check compatibility for you.

Q. Can I adjust the temperature of my Zip HydroTap?

A. Yes — Zip Water HydroTaps feature adjustable temperature controls.

Boiling water can be adjusted between 68°C and 99°C
Chilled water can be adjusted between 5°C and 15°C
Sparkling water carbonation levels can also be customised

Q. How often do I need to refill the CO₂ cylinder in my Zip HydroTap?

A. Each residential Zip HydroTap CO₂ cylinder can carbonate approximately 120 litres of sparkling water.

Typical usage:

Drinking approximately 1 litre of sparkling water per day = around 4 months of use per cylinder

Lower usage will naturally extend the lifespan of the cylinder.The HydroTap G5 command centre will also notify you when CO₂ levels are running low.
