Do I Need a Limescale Filter?

If your HydroTap is being installed in a hard or very hard water area, additional limescale protection is strongly recommended.

This is particularly important in areas such as London and many parts of the South East, where mineral deposits can cause scale to build up inside boiling-water equipment.

Zip HydroTap Installation

The Zip HydroTap must be installed and connected by a suitably qualified person in accordance with applicable national and local regulations.

Installation Requirements

Your kitchen will require:

1. A suitable mains cold-water connection

2. A suitable electrical supply

3. Required connections within approximately 1 metre of the unit

4. Adequate cupboard space for the HydroTap command centre

5. Suitable ventilation within the cabinetry

6. An appropriate tap hole within the sink or worktop

The HydroTap command centre is air cooled, so suitable ventilation openings within the kitchen cabinetry are required.

Residential installation is available nationwide across the UK.

Standard installation covers installation into a suitable sink or font. Installation into stone or granite worktops may require specialist cutting and can incur an additional charge depending on the installation and location.
