Does the Zip Celsius Arc replace my existing kitchen tap?

Yes. The Celsius Arc combines filtered boiling water with everyday mains hot and cold water, eliminating the need for a separate kitchen mixer tap in a suitable installation.

Does this model dispense chilled water?

No. This particular Celsius Arc model provides filtered boiling water plus standard unfiltered mains hot and cold water. It does not include a chilled or sparkling water function.

Do I still need a kettle?

For most everyday hot drinks and cooking tasks, instant near-boiling water from your HydroTap can replace the need to use a traditional kettle.

Does the HydroTap filter all three water functions?

No. The integrated MicroPurity filter treats the boiling drinking water. The standard mains hot and cold water functions are unfiltered.

Will the Command Centre fit beneath my sink?

The Command Centre measures approximately 333mm high, 280mm wide and 313mm deep. Additional space is required for ventilation, plumbing connections and servicing. Always check the latest installation guide.

Do I need a limescale filter?

If you live in a hard water area, Zip strongly recommends a compatible limescale filtration kit to help protect your HydroTap from scale build-up.

Can I have my HydroTap professionally installed?

Yes. Professional Zip engineer installation is available as an option, subject to location and site requirements.

How often should I replace the water filter?

Zip generally recommends replacing the internal filter every 12 months, or sooner where usage and water conditions require.
