It's a relatively simple process to install a Hanstrom boiling water tap, requiring just a few tools and basic DIY/plumbing skills. The job becomes more complex if you need to fit a new plug socket - we recommend you hire an electrician in this instance.

Your tap will come with a detailed installation guide for you or your installer to follow. In basic terms, you will need to:

Position the Tap: Install the boiling tap securely on the kitchen sink or worktop as per the installation guide.
Place the Boiler Tank: Set up the boiler tank in the cabinet under the sink, ensuring it has enough space for ventilation.
Connect the Filter and Water Supply: Attach the provided water filter to the tank, and then connect the filter to the mains water supply.
Attach the Tap to the Tank: Securely link the tap's tubing to the boiler tank according to the guide.
Power the Boiler: Plug the boiler tank into a wall socket, then switch it on.
Prime and Heat: Allow the boiler tank to fill and heat the water. This process may take about 10 minutes on initial setup.
Test and Enjoy: Turn the handles to test each water function, confirming everything works smoothly.
